Exports of goods

Export of goods is classified by country of consumptionn. It is also classified by product and fish species. The classifications follow international norms.

The export is in value (DKK) and quantity (kilograms).

Orðalýsingar:

  • Export value is in FOB (Free On Board). This means that the value is without the cost of freight and insurance
  • Index show the change in percentage from one year to another with a basis year, that is set to 100.
  • MCS = Main Commercial Species. The grouping into Main Commercial Species (MCS) has been established by EUMOFA considering both the significant relevance of fresh fish in the market, namely at the first-sale stage, and the importance of the respective species in the trade flow.
