The Faroese Pharmaceutical System is a governmental institution covering pharmacies, the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer and the Pharmaceutical Foundation.

The purpose of the Pharmaceutical System is to manufacture, import, dispense, stock, sell, package and inform about medicine. The Chief Pharmaceutical Officer administers public matters regarding the Pharmaceutical System.
