The table covers marriages and divorces among couples where at least one person was residing in the Faroe Islands on the date in question.
Marriages and divorces are recorded based on registrations in the National Register.
If a separation results in divorce, the divorce is recorded from the start date of the separation, not from the date the divorce was granted.
