The Alcohol Monopoly of the Faroe Islands (Rúsdrekkasøla Landsins) administers all sales of alcohol, including tax-free sales.

Some tax-free alcohol sales figures are not included in the statistics. Sales of ‘Litres per inhabitant aged 15 and older’ cannot be determined since such sales are not registered at the point of sale. Light beer is also not included due to its low alcohol contents.
