Exports on the rise
The export value of fish products increased by 7% in the first nine months of this year compared to the same period last year.
Total exports amounted to DKK 6.8 billion in the first nine months of this year, compared to DKK 6.4 billion in the same period last year.
The first nine months of 2019, which was the best year so far for exports, saw exports valued at 6.7 billion in the first nine months of the year. The figures for the first nine months of 2021 suggest that this year may surpass the 2019 total.
Salmon exports from January up to and including September 2021 totalled DKK 3 billion, a 22% increase on the same period last year.
