Fish exports of DKK 4.6 billion in first seven months of 2021

Total exports in the first seven months of 2021 are valued at DKK 4.9 billion, an increase of about DKK 100 million on the same period in 2020.

The year-to-date exports of mackerel have so far amounted to DKK 229 million, compared to last year’s total of DKK 465 million.

Salmon exports saw a year-on-year increase of 18%, totalling DKK 2.3 billion at the end of July 2021.

Cod exports dropped 5% in value and 7% in volume in the first seven months of this year. The export volume of mature coalfish also dropped by 7%, while the haddock export volume increased by 8%. The export value of mature coalfish and haddock remains about the same as last year.
