Imports increased 7% year-to-date
Imports in the first seven months of 2021 amounted to DKK 4.9 billion, an increase of DKK 300 million on the first seven months of 2020.
The total import value saw a year-on-year increase of 7%. Excluding ships and aircraft from the figures, imports increased by almost 10%.
Imports of goods for the construction industry have gone down, but the figure has gone up for most of the other groups of goods.
The industrial machinery and equipment group saw the biggest increase, going up by DKK 158 million (37%) compared to the first seven months of 2020.
Imports of goods for household consumption increased by 10%.
