Exports continue to rise
Fish exports saw a year-on-year increase of DKK 2 billion in the 12-month period Feb. 21 – Jan. 22
The table below shows the total value of exports in the last 12 months compared to previous 12-month periods.
The increase in exports is largely due to rising salmon exports, having increased 40% in volume, and 45% in value.
The export value of mackerel and herring has increased by DKK 202 million and DKK 142 million, respectively. The export volume of blue whiting has decreased roughly by half.
