Fish exports totalled DKK 10.4 billion in the past year
The total export value increased by DKK 3 billion in the June 2021-May 2022 period compared to the previous 12 months.
The two tables below show the June 2021-May 2022 export values and volumes compared to the previous 12-month period.
Exports have gone up in just about all commodity groups.
The export value of salmon increased by DKK 1.5 billion (43%) while the export volume only increased by 19%. For the first time ever, the annual salmon export value surpassed DKK 5 billion.
Mackerel exports increased by DKK 617 million (94%).

Exports to Russia have plunged down to DKK 13 million as of May 2022. These exports consist of sales of fuel, etc. to Russian ships.
