Imports in April 2023
Total imports, excluding vessels and aircraft, from May 2022 to April 2023 amounted to DKK 11.2 billion, a year-on-year increase of DKK 1.5 billion.
The table below shows imports from May 2022 to April 2023 compared with the previous 12-month period.
Compared with the March 2022-February 2023 period, imports dropped by DKK 323 million. This indicates that the big increase in import value seen in the past year is coming to a halt.
Fuel imports increased by DKK 682.9 million, mainly due to higher prices.
After a year with no growth, imports for private households are now on the increase. For example, the import value of goods for household consumption went up by DKK 128.9 million (6.7%), and the import value of vehicles and other motor cars increased by DKK 56.1 million (10.2%).
