Imports in March worth DKK 719 million
March 2020 saw a 9% increase in imports of goods on March 2019
Imports have increased over the past 12 months in most commodity groups, except ‘machinery and other capital equipment’.
As import figures tend to vary from one month to another, it is too early to say how COVID-19 is affecting imports.
The total value of imports in the April 2019-March 2020 period was DKK 8.5 billion, which is DKK 700 million more than the previous 12-month period.
The increase, excluding ships and aircraft, totalled just over DKK 279 million (4%).
