Imports worth DKK 5.2 billion so far this year
Total imports of goods increased by DKK 335 million (7%) in the first eight months of this year compared to the same period last year.
Fuel imports are down by DKK 200 million. Fuel imports are slightly higher in volume terms than in the first eight months of last year, but the value drop is caused by lower oil prices internationally.
Imports of goods for household consumption have increased by almost DKK 100 million. The biggest increase is represented by durable and semi-durable consumer goods such as furniture and domestic appliances.
Imports of raw materials for fish production have also increased significantly, from DKK 140 million to DKK 280 million.
