New Global Goals website

Statistics Faroe Islands today launched a website that showcases the Faroe Islands’ progress toward meeting the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Faroese government is committed to the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

To reach these goals, the progress must be measured, and it is crucial that all participating nations use a systematic and uniform method to measure their progress.

Statistics Faroe Islands has been tasked with compiling this data for the Faroe Islands.

The 17 Global Goals include No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-Being, Quality Education, Gender Equality, Affordable and Clean Energy, Reduced Inequalities, Climate Action and Life Below Water.

Statistics Faroe Islands has spent the past two years compiling Faroese data for the Sustainable Development Goals indicators. This data is now available on a new website, developed specifically for this purpose.
