Imports of goods
16. May 2023
Imports up by DKK 1.6 billion, excluding vessels and aircraft
Total imports from April 2022 to March 2023 amounted to DKK 12.7 billion, a year-on-year increase of DKK 2.6 billion.
The table below shows imports from April 2022 to March 2023 compared with the previous 12-month period.
Compared with the March 2022-February 2023 period, imports dropped by DKK 164 million. This indicates that the big increase in imports in the past year is coming to a halt.
Fuel imports increased by DKK 855, mainly due to higher prices.
Imports in the ‘for aqua- and agriculture’ commodity group increased by DKK 293 million year-on-year (46%). The biggest increase within this group is in feeding stuff for use in aquaculture. The increased imports in the ‘for other industries’ group are partly due to increased imports of medicine.
