Imports down by DKK 537 million
Total imports in the April 2020 - March 2021 period amounted to DKK 8.1 billion, which is a drop of DKK 537 million compared to the previous 12-month period. Excluding ships and fuel from the annual figures, imports dropped by DKK 88 million (1.1%).
The table below shows the April 2020-March 2021 import values compared to the previous 12-month period.
Imports of ships went down by DKK 450 million, and we spent DKK 338 million less on fuel, mainly due to a drop in fuel prices.
Imports of goods for household consumption increased by DKK 200 million (12%).
Imports of industrial machinery and equipment increased while imports of construction materials decreased.
