Reduction in oil import value, household goods imports go up
The total imports of goods in the first 11 months of 2020 are roughly the same as in the previous year.
The import value of oil went down by more than DKK 300 million in January-November 2020 compared to the same period in 2019. This is due to a lower oil prices because the import volume has gone up.
Imports of goods for household consumption increased by 11% this year. Durable and semi-durable consumer goods such as furniture and domestic appliances a saw the biggest increase in this commodity group.
