Exports down by 10% so far this year
Exports of fish products decreased by almost DKK 500 million in the first seven months of this year compared to the same period last year
Cod and salmon exports saw the biggest drop in terms of value, going from DKK 323 million in January-July 2019 to DKK 180 million in the same period this year. This represents a decrease of 25% for cod and 7% for salmon.
Fish export volumes have also seen a significant drop, going down 14% in tonnes year-on-year. The cod export volume went down 29% and the salmon export volume dropped by 8%.
